Basically, today's peak point was that we went to the Hospice Care Association (HCA) to do our CIP, which is mainly interacting with some of the terminally ill patients (well, they're basically just elderlys).
First off, we got on to the "Pass the Baton" game, instructions are basically just to pass the "baton" around and whoever touches it last before the music stops (kinda like Musical Chairs) gets a punishment and tears off a piece of paper from our paper box AKA The Baton. And no, it's not empty inside. The box actually has 8 layers, containing an ornament in the box.
Second, we got off to prepare sandwich for them. well, basically we just do all the carrying and tidying up instead of the staffs there. I just idled around since there aren't really much to do.
Well, before all this, my plastic gloves tore, so I went to ask for a new one, and one of this staff here starts talking about why don't I tell my teacher not to do anything, blah, how uncompassionate I am... and so on. Of course, I was dumbfounded. And the natural thing anyone would do was to nod and shake their head. And so I did, and changed the gloves and went off. Then I realised something - she heard wrongly; she thought I was asking her if I could not do the activities since my gloves tore. Instead, what I said was to change a new one for my torn gloves. And naturally, being me, I was angry - but after so long. What the..?
Anyway, this trip was fun and yep, funny, the facilities were great there, too.
