* drum roll please~ *
nah, just a short review. Basically I took the time today to watch Singapore play Table Tennis, Singapore vs Singapore, and I must say, it really is a good match-up, with 2 match point to Feng TW, and 3 to their opponents (which is also representing Singapore), whose names I forgotten. LOL.
And before the swimming competition, we were put on the screen just in time to see the Athletics running, which Singapore wasn't in it. But then again, I had nothing to do, so I just sat by and watch them run. I'm not going to touch on that. But, I did saw the last part of swimming, tag team event, Singapore won, yet again. I'm very impressed with our swimming team this year, and I can really say that I'm proud to be a Singaporean.
Now, on to the medal tally. We bagged 24 golds, and it's not the end of the game yet, with Thailand and Vietnam just in front of us with 29 golds and 25 golds respectively. One more day (?) before the Swimming event is over and there stops our medal tally. Perharps, other sports can manage to get a few more gold for us. I was really hoping for 30+ gold medals.
But ah, Swimming, Shooting, Table Tennis have really done us proud, especially Swimming. Table Tennis is really a hard sport (well, at least for me). I wonder how can they manage to concentrate on hitting their opponent's side on the table and focus on not letting the ball touch the ground on such a small table at the same time, not to mention trying to hit it at such an angle that their opponent isn't going to hit it.
I'm going off to play Badminton (yes, professionally) after seeing the SEA games. Heh~ wish me good luck~!
